The Event is sponsored by BMW of Tyrone/ Kissells Motorsports, Solid Performance KTM, Main line Overland and Purple Lizard Maps and will start and finish at the Godspeed Hostel, in Port Matilda PA., near State College.

It will be a four day GPS guided tour of the PA Wilds area using eight state forests and parks. All Meals and Comfortable Lodging are included.

The route will be mostly dirt and gravel roads in the forests and they will be connected by back country roads and some highways. You should be able to travel 100 miles between gas stops. We will have support vehicles and sweep riders on the routes equipped with tools and Satellite communication devices in case of emergency. An emergency response plan will be filed with the DCNR and local EMS stations.

Riders should arrive Wednesday afternoon May 15th. There will be a riders meeting that evening after dinner. You can leave you vehicle at the start. It will be secure.

All riders must have a 27 Gallon tote available from Home Depot for under $10. In this box you may put any extra gear, spares, tools or personal items you may need for the ride. A PBAR Truck will follow the route and be available at the stops on the ride.

The event starts 9 AM Thursday May 16th.
Day One, will be an appx 250 mile loop and will return to the start. This will allow for riders to adjust, repair or make changes to their machine and or gear before leaving for the remaining three day appx 700 mile loop.

Day Two will be appx 225 miles and will end in Wellsboro. We will stay at the Sherwood Motel. Friday Dinner and Saturday Breakfast in downtown Wellsboro.

Day Three will be appx 200 miles and will end in Lock Haven. We will stay in a TBD hotel there. Saturday Dinner and Sunday Breakfast will be served.

Day Four will be appx 250 miles and end back at the start.
You can stay over that night for an additional charge.

The cost will be $900. This includes all meals, lodging and the supported ride.

The event is limited to 75 riders. There are 50 beds available at the Start, the first 50 registered riders will be assigned to them.
The next 25 will have cots or camping for the first two nights.

Also we use Garmin Inreach SE and SPOT Trackers and Sat Phones for off-grid communication. We like the Garmin Montana 600 series GPS’s with the 24K Topo maps. There will be a GPS class Wednesday after the riders meeting.

We also use Google Maps Location Sharing.

The PA Wilds area forests have no to very poor cell service.

We recommend you purchase a device so we can stay in touch.

However, You are not required to do so and the support and sweep riders will have them.
